Meet the Doctors

Dr Astacio graduated from the University of Puerto Rico school of medicine and finished his residency as the chief pediatric resident. Within pediatrics he cultivates interest on pediatric dermatology. He served as the Chairman of the Pediatric Department at Southern Regional Medical Center. McDonough Children's Specialist opened its doors in 1997 and is now seeing the children of our former children. In his spare time, Dr Astacio enjoys cycling, photography and traveling.

Dr. Soriano graduated from Pedro Henriquez Urena National University in the Dominican Republic. He did his residency at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in New York City. He worked in the emergency room and saw all kinds of various diseases that deal with children. He joined the private practice of McDonough Children's Specialist in 2000. Dr Soriano enjoys hunting, fishing and traveling to the Dominican.
